How do you get 4ch sound from the Asus A7A266?

How do you get 4 channel sound from the A7a266 motherboard? I see only 1 input for the speakers. Is it emulated thru software?

One of the other outputs doubles as the rear output for the speakers. You can configure which one when you install the sound drivers for the C-Media 8738 chipset.
