How do you Force DCC in mIRC?

I know this is dumb, but I have everything running OK for DCC. It will do an auto-receive, etc.

My question is...if it misses, or the server disconnects, I sometimes get a message saying I have a DCC Pending and I have 120 seconds to set my client to receive.

I do not see where I can force it to receive...what am I missing?

TIA

My problem is NOT with auto receive. My problem is that if the server disconnects, it comes back and says I have a DCC pending and have 120 seconds to force the receive. It works 99% of the time, but when I get this message, I see no option to force the receive.

Did you go under Options --> DCC --> Options, and make sure "Show Warning" is unchecked?

Let me get this straight:

The DCC is auto accepted and starts downloading
You get booted off IRC server
It reconnects but the DCC just sits there saying you need to force the recieve

I can't check right now, I'll have to look when I get home, but wanted to make sure I understood the problem. Never actually seen this problem first hand.

Ew, auto receive is nasty.

I've had auto recieve turned on since 1996 🙂. And its been pointing to the same directory all that time no less. I've probably gotten about 10 unwanted files in that period of time and I just delete them. Like I'd actually believe a friend sent me naked.scr.

Did you try any of the /dcc commands? Or even the help for /dcc?

I think I stopped using mIRC shortly after 1996. 😛
