How do you find an optometrist?

i'm trying to figure out which optometrist i should pick. there's this new one that opened up really close to me, so that one might win just because it's close.
 
I don't think it matters much. Go to the new place, and see how you like it. If you like it, give referrals to friends that live in your area. If you don't like it, tell the optometrist why you dislike his service and move on. If he cares about his newly opened business, he may offer incentives to keep you happy, or change his business practices.

You have to give people a chance sometimes.
