I have some XMS 2700 running on a Asus P4B533 I have the FSB set to 150 so is it still running a DDR333??

Also If I put it into a p4p800 and set it to 150fsb would that make any diff if its now in a 800 board??

Thanks for any help you might have

oops .. got your PM and didn't read this thread thoroughly. AIDA32 will tell you what speed your oc'ed memory is running at.

DDR333 is really 166 .. so a FSB150 is almost DDR333. That PC2700 is the sweet sport cause i that extra head room of the memory willl still sync with your highest FSB. PLus, it's Corsair so it has a bit of leeway above 166. I remember before PC3200 came out, people would hit FSB200 on slow timings with their Corsair modules.

there should be any different if you moved a p4p800 board if you are using the same CPU/memory. The mobo just gives you a better upgrade path.

CPU-Z 1.21

Look under Memory
--> Modules Information shows the actual speed rating your memory is rated at
ie. DDR- PC3200 => 3200/8 = 400mhz in dual channel or 200mhz single channel

--> Timings shows the actual Memory Frequency, Timings, etc. that you are running which might be lower, equal to or exceed the Modules information depending on ratios or overclockig implemented
