How do you feel about the .name domain?

For Christmas, I got my family's name under the .name domain.

How do you guys like .name? Have you ever used it or been to a site with it? Do you think the average computer user would be confused by it? (Compared to .com or .net)

Yes.

Personally I'd rather use .org or .info before using .name

I think it's mostly confusing because it's not 3 letters.

Just like .us
You give someone a website that ends in .us and they're like Huh?

I think it makes much more sense to get the domain of www.XXXFamily.com or something like that.
