Someday, you'll understand. It is a much, much better thing to be called hun and sweety by old ladies than by women half your age who mean it in a totally polite, non-sexual way.

From the looks of things, you were hardly alone.

It would appear ATOT seems to have a thing for older women, so to speak.

I don't mind at all. It's a compliment. For the same reason, women should not be offended if you tell them they're hot or have nice tits, yet it's considered impolite, so we don't do it. I don't know why that is. Seems like a double standard to me.

"sweetie""is a term frequently used to address BOTH sexes when the speaker either doesn't know or has forgotten your name and doesn't want to address the person as "hey you". It is not in the same class as "nice tits"" for a greeting.

I have a big problem with being called "hun." It means she considers me a child, which is a major insult. I generally get pissed if someone uses that on me.

From the older granny types it doesn't bother me. Now it's quite strange when they are 20+ years younger than me and call me Hun or sweetie:confused: It must be something they teach in waitress school
