I probably shouldn't jump in here, but the internet (including this forum) is heavily American. Imagine if it were flipped and the internet were heavily British. Americans could get along just fine, but everything would have a British flavor to it. Threads about the NFL would get shouted down, stuff like that. I can understand how having people constantly throw their nationality in your face would get annoying. True, they don't have to post here, but there's no point in nationalistic posturing, especially in a freaking off topic thread.
Anyway, if anyone is still even thinking about American Football, I've got a game for you to check out. The December 5th night NFL game, originally on NBC, was one of the best I've seen, and easily the best I've seen this season. It was the Baltimore Ravens vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. Two very, very equal teams, both with the same record, both in the same division. There are eight divisions in the NFL, and the winner of each goes to the playoffs, as do some wild card teams. Wild card spots are hard to get, so this game was very important.
It was an excellent defensive game. Baltimore is just scary on defense, and Pittsburgh has got Troy Polamalu, who is a big playmaker.
Anyway, if you can find it, and you're interested in watching a good NFL game, definitely check it out, especially the fourth quarter.
