how do you fax with 56k modem?

Hi, I am looking to apply some jobs....they need me fax my resume.....I don't have a fax machine, but I know there is some way to do it via modem....so how does that work? anyone?

i always just use the program provided with windows. used to be called Microsoft Fax, but i forget what its called in Win2k

For Win2k:

Start ---> Programs ---> Accessories ---> Communications ---> Fax

I am using win98......only dialup network and phone dialer are available under communication.
any idea?

try going to the control panel and add/remove programs and then windows components

ok, forget that microsoft fax stuff...I've got my bitware installed now....now, I want to test it...anyone can give me your fax number? I will send a testing page to you....also, I want to see if I can receive fax, if you can help me out...please PM me.
