how do you end a task in OS9?

no biggie, I just hit the rest button for the 5th time tonight. Those constant restarts are probably fixing this crashy mac . . .whaddaya think?

OS9 will let you know when IT'S done with the program by locking up and crashing on you.

Maybe it's not his computer or maybe it's too old.
Also apps have to be written for OSX, it's not backwards compatible with OS9.

They are supposed to run in the 'Blue box' or whatever apple called it.
