How do you enable auto complete?

This option is checked Internet Options/Advanded but it's not working. I disabled it after I installed IE5. How do you re-enable it?
 
To adjust AutoComplete settings

You can tailor the AutoComplete feature to save and suggest only the information you want. You can choose whether to use AutoComplete for Web addresses, forms, and passwords, or not use it all. And you can clear the history for any of these.

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.
Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.

What if I want to automatically save password without prompt for password saving? Anyway to go around it?
 
But if I uncheck PROMPT ME TO SAVE PASSWORDS, it will never save the password I type in. It will just simply ignore it.
