How do you enable anisotropic filtering W/ GeForce 3

I can see that in the Opengl properties there is a checkbox to enable it, but in Tribes 2 It won't let me select it. I compare how my G3 and my G2 (that I put in my spare machine) looks, and I can clearly see that with the G3 Anisotropic filtering is not on, even though the box is checked in the driver properties.

1) Does anyone know for sure if filtering is enabled or disabled on the G3 with 12.xx drivers?

2) Is there a reg hack or whatever to enable it?

Thanks in advance because I heard the Geforce 3 is capable of doing 24 tap aniso filtering, so doing 8 tap should be no problem.

It's not officially supported in the certified drivers yet.

The best way to make sure you are using it is to download NVMax. You can enable it there along with a lot of other things not listed in the driver sets.
