How do you dual boot Windows 98SE and Linux?

Most linux distributions should come with LILO, which works fine. Or you can download loadlin and start linux from a dos prompt (same effect).

lilo can be told to boot to a fat32 partition. depending on your disto, run liloconfig or edit /etc/lilo.conf by hand.

you COULD use bootmagic.. it's probably much easier to configure and such. but, i'd say lilo is a better choice.

SilentBoB-

Yes, you can.

There are a million sites out there that go over dual-booting. It is pretty easy though. As long as you don't reformat your present Win98 partition, you should be just fine. The installer will help you set up lilo as well.

Enjoy!
