How do you download binaries off newsgroups? plz help

I know u use programs like newsbin to download. but i could not figure out where its downloaded to or how its done. could anyone plz point me to a link that explains it?

i use outlook to view newsgroups, and there is a little button that you can click to download just like an attachment... i think any file in newsgroups are called attachments, just like in email, but dont quote me on that

Hmm I am curious as well but I know what they are most commonly used for and they are bad, either porn or pirated software and I would rather not know.

There's lots of good stuff in newsgroup and not just porn or warez. I download some awesome wallpaper and some cool themes for Windows blinds.
