How do you download all IE6 files?

Someone posted a way in these forums on how to download all the files and not have it install via your modem. It's just easier to burn them to a CD at work and install at home. I've searched and searched and can't find the thread (don't even remember how I came across it). Can someone here point me to the thread or re-post how to do it?

TIA

Really not the place to be askin this but:
When you select it for download in the product updates menu, keep going untill after it asks you to agree to the license. Your options will then be to install now or install minimum, selct install minimum. In the next window select the advanced button, check download only and the rest is pretty self explanitory.

The only reason I asked here is because I saw the info here 🙂

Anyway, that doesn't work for me in Win2k. I'll keep digging, it's around here somewhere. There was some command line switches you had to use in order to get it to download all the files for a local install.

If you want to download the IE6 files for later install, just download ie6setup.exe and make a batch file with:

ie6setup /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"""

as the content. It will let you choose Win98, WinME, Win2K, WinXP and what not.
