All I have is the bare driver, no software, etc. I'd like to be able to reload the driver in an attempt to cure 6800 stuttering/freeze issues.

Anyone know how to do a clean uninstall of an audigy driver? There are many "sound type things" listed in the device manager... Do I only install the driver for the one that says:

Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS (WDM)

What about these entries: Legacy Audio Drivers, Creative Game Port, Audio Codecs

Do these need uninstalled as well?

Go to the add/remove programs and uninstall your Creative drivers from there. Before you do that though download and install Driver Cleaner PE and update it. Then after unistall reboot into safe mode and run driver cleaner. Reboot and reinstall drivers.

Legacy audio drivers and Audio Codecs needs to stay, the Creative Game Port will be gone after you physically remove the card and follow the procedure Bar81 gave you (which is precisely how I uninstall drivers for components I'm removing or updating).
