how do you dispose of those small green propane tanks?

One is low, and i want to have to change it mid bbq. How do i throw it away. I doubt i can just toss it in the can.

We just put ours in the trashcan.

put it into a bag of fish guts , tie it up real good and put it into the trash

Recycle bin... it's steel, and mine are always empty because I don't mind changing them mid-BBQ.


If I were the type to leave some propane in them, then I suppose I'd have to throw it into the ocean instead.
