How do you display on the TV and monitor at the same time with a gf2 mx, without the borders?

My radeon 8500 had no problems displaying both the TV and the monitor at the same time. However, without the use of TVtool, the picture displayed takes up about 3/4ths of the screen. The Nvidia drivers provide little changes other than shifting the picture around. Tv tool doesnt support dualhead, so im stuck with a low quality video output. Does anyone know how to solve this? BTW, im using 27.20 winXP drivers on a hercules geforce 2 mx with composite out.

thanks,

Anyone? Is there any reason that Nvidia can;t make the TV output take up the entire screen?

If TV Tool can't fix your problem then you are stuck with what you have. TV-out is not a strong point for nvidia-based cards.

as said nvidia tv out sucks, and there isn't a fix for it. The GF4 still suffers from this apparently.

Which gf4's TV out has been tested to be like this? I dont understand how tvtool can make it look so much better, and nvidia not correct this.

How about the cards with phillip's VIVO chipset? Is the TV out on those also horrible?

Should have kept the 8500, with the newer drivers adding a registry entry gives you the option to use overscan, my Radeon had no black borders on my old TV, my new 32", it has very small top and bottom bars after adjusting the TV display. Using the overscan option, its totally full screen.

Yeah, well I planned to upgrade to the gf4 ti's, but from what I'm hearing maybe that was a bad decision.
