How do you disable "Confirm Delete" in Windows Explorer?

Long time ago I learned how to change something in Windows that would disable the dialog box in Windows Explorer that asks if you're "sure you want to delete this file?" That is, you click Delete, and it goes off to the Recycle Bin without another word. I've really appreciated that one, and now with my new laptop I can't remember where it is.

Also would like to set my machine at work - W2KPro - the same way.

Thanks, anyone.

Right Click on the Recycle Bin either in the desktop or Windows Explorer. Uncheck the line which reads "Display delete confirmation dialog", apply and hit OK. Regards

that's not in my right-click menu, I'm afraid. I have 98se, and Norton SystemWorks 2001, so the menu is full of stuff, but not that line

What you CAN do if you're sure you won't want to undelete what you are deleting is press the Shift button when hitting the delete button. That prevents the deleted stuff from going to your Recycle Bin.
