I noticed that some time yesterday, my .doc files and .jpg files were gone from My Documents folder on my laptop. Some program and zip files remained though. I just went over to my desktop and found the same thing.
My wife did not touch either computer and no one was in our house.
Both machines are running XP Pro behind a Netgear MR314 router with my cable modem service. Laptop is wireless and desktop is wired but there were no "unknowns" in my DHCP table.
WTF?
I did a complete Norton virus scan and found nothing! My definitions are up to date too.
What the hell-p do I do?:|
