How do you delete icons from the control panel?

I have some empty icons in my control panel, nothing happens when i double click them. When I hit delete, they don't delete. They dont have any name and they use the default windows icon.

I don't know where they came from. Anyone know where I can delete these from?

To throw out another option, you can download and install TweakUI from Microsoft and use it to hide/show Control Panel icons, if I recall correctly.
