How do you delete a patch that you already installed?

I put a MSN messenger patch on yesterday and I have been having some problems..you computer will slow down some times really slow..Can i delete that patch?

I think you might have to delete the individual files that were installed, but maybe you can find a program on google to do the trick? maybe try uninstalling IM and then reinstalling it?

Thats why there are programs like "go-back" and they are used BEFORE you install stuff or you make frequent registry backups.!

Try removing MSN Messenger completely. Then use System Restore to an earlier date. Then reinstall the basic applet w/o the patch.
