always wondered how ppl did this? are there kits? or do you have to get it professionally done?

also, how much does it usually cost to tint car windows?

I think you would be better off getting estimates from places. It really depends on what you get, as far as the cost.

Just get some string or even better is dental floss and slide it in behind the badge and pop it off.

I got 25% on my WRX for 150 and that included the 6" windshield sun screen.

you should be able to just yank the badges off. if they are bolted on then after getting them off I'd assume that you'd bondo it (or something similar) and paint over it.

Debadging is easy - just take some monofilament fishing line and run it underneath the badge and pull from edge to edge. It will come right off. You can use soap and water to remove any residue. Window tinting will ordinarily cost between $100 and 150 for good-quality metallic tint.

Good tint will run you $150 or so.

I got 15% back windows (i think) and 5% limo on the rear.

Maybe I should "debadge" my car. Some idiot in orange county tried to steal my Honda emblem but just broke half of it off instead, so I have half a Honda emblem and it looks silly.

Be sure you use some 3M spray adhesive remover and heat the surface with a hair dryer to loosen the glue. Then you can use floss or whatever to remove the badge.
