How do you deal with BS?

Hello there! If you take a look at my join date, you'll probably see I've been a member of these forums since 2002. That's a long time and I can tell you only one thing - posting is useless.

I haven't been here for a long time and I'm out of the loop completely. Last thing I remember is Skoorb was gone, is he back?

To get back on topic, have you ever found yourself in a situation when you believed in smth and then found it to be utter BS? How did you deal with it?

Depends on what smth is.

I believed this post would be interesting to read. Then I clicked on it and read it. The idea that you had something interesting to say is utter BS.

I'm dealing with it by using a humor-based defense mechanism.

For example, someone is a hardware nerd. He believes that upgrading his CPU will give him something, but then he realized he bought a pile of junk for a lot of $ and he's just a moron. That's what I feel like, do you understand?

i believed in god and then i started listening to manson and now i know thats bs and im pissed at my mom for taking me to church grrggggrrrrrr cuts wrists life is pain and there is no free will bush is a war criminal

That's all you've got? This thread would be much more entertaining if it turned into a yagt...

So you listened to one BS and stopped believing in another. So where's the truth?

Well, admitting and realization is always the first step to a better you! Just be glad it didn't take you any longer to find that epifany(sp).

Don't you have goals in life? You can always work to those.

Sure I can. But they are all BS. It's a scam, you know.

perhaps you need some dating tips?

Not at my age.

So I guess one day everyone will experience this. You wake up and ask yourself, what the heck am I doing. And there will be no answer to that.

Uh I guess it really depends on what your goals are.

For example: Being financially secure, having good family relations, getting a better job, getting a nice wife, raising good kids, or travel the world.

EDIT: Are you experience a case of nihlisim?

The truth is fleeting.

Once you grab it, you wouldn't want to let it go.

Now please tell me, did Skoorb ever return? Do 'they' really always come back?

OK, shouldn't have posted this. Must be a drunk reflex of some sort. Maybe I'll read this some day.

If you're going to troll OP, atleast make it funny. I enjoy a good funny troll.

This thread sucks.

Tell ya what, OP. You went away for awhile and now you came back and are out of the loop. let me make a suggestion. You leave, and you're still out of the loop and this thread dies. It will be our little secret. 😕

You mean like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny? I've heard rumors that they weren't real but I refuse to put believe them.
