how do you cure that problem with the skin at the bottom of your fingernails? (cuticle)

you know how sometimes the skin at the bottom of your fingernails where it overlaps the nail a bit (cuticle) is pulled up a little and it doesn't really want to grow back down over the nail?

is there any way to cure/heal it?

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about... What exactly is the problem?

Worst problem I seem to have in that area is hangnails.. especially on my thumbs. owie.

In dry weather, cuticles can dry out and pull back. Rub a good hand lotion on/into them a few times a day and they should clear up. If they get really bad, put a liberal amount of hand lotion on your hands then cover them with a sock while you sleep.
