How do you create a backup iso image on your hard drive with Nero?

I've been trying to do this, to back up my CDs to a spare hard drive, but the Nero documentation seems very confusing. How can I create a backup iso image to my hard drive with Nero? Or can I?

in one of the menus is "choose recorder". click that, then choose teh virtual image recorder (i dont remember exactly what it's called). it will use .nrg instread of .iso though. as long as you reburn with nero, it will work fine.
