how do you couples share your duties nowadays ?

No Lifer
Gone are the days when the man of the house earned the cash and the wife would serve her role doing housework.

How do you couples divide up the duties and generally speaking, who does what ?

- cooking
- dishes
- mopping/dusting/vacuuming
- laundry

Things I am in charge of:
  • Anything financial.
  • Anything technologically related.
  • Garbage.

Things she is in charge of:
  • The kitchen, and the goings-on therein.

My parents are college educated and worked.

My Mom is a terrible cook, she did clean though. Both parents shared cleaning duties, THANKFULLY my Daddy was a cuilnary genius, or I would have lived on tv dinners for 18 years ...

So

I hate cooking, I will clean. I eventually found a great man that shares household chores with me and is a culinary genius.

I am sure Taco Bell misses me though ..

My boyfriend and I both are in college and I work...

I do:
-the dishes
-picking up the house
-vacuuming dusting est.
and the worst
-cleaning the bathroom 🙁

He does:

-garbage

And thankfully, we each do our own laundry, and I say thankfully because I'm not to sure I'm up for pre-treating those stripes if ya know what I mean.

her: WHAT?
me: dont back talk me woman
her: THATS IT
me: THATS IT, no more sass outta you! Get in the kitchen and bake me a pie!

we then had a good laugh, good times

I handle:
Heavy lifting
