How do you convert bmp to jpg?

I got a file I wanna put on web but too big!

What kind of file viewer are you using? Most will convert, actually all will, bmp to jpg. Even microsoft paint. Just click on the file type in the saves dialog box and select jpg, jpeg.

I personally use Lview Pro and Paintshop Pro. Either will work fine.

simply open the image in mspaint and use the 'save as' function to change the
bmp to jpg. the best image manager imo is the freeware irfanview.
