How do you connect frickin FRONT PANEL AUDIO?

Hello all,

First my specs: ASUS K8V motherboard, Audigy ZS, and Powmax case.

Question1: Can I use the motherboard's header pins to connect front panel audio if I have an Audigy ZS installed? I have onboard audio enabled. But can't seem to get audio to come out of the front panel jacks. Perhaps I haven't hooked them up correctly...I have the B_LINEOUT R/L on mobo connected to RETURN R/L on the front panel and LINEOUT R/L on mobo to SPEAKEROUT R/L on front panel.

Question2: ...Or do I have to use the Audigy ZS pins to connect to the front panel?

Please HELP. I am pretty new at this, and all I want to do is play doom3 while my fiance is sleeping!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I was under the impression that only one general purpose sound card should be active at a time... Hook them to the audigy and disable the integrated sound.
