How do YOU clean your ears?

I've always just used Q-Tips. But lately I've been getting into some decent headphones, and thinking maybe over the years some of that stuff has collected in there that hasn't been removed by the Q-Tips. So I'm gonna give the ear drops + flushing out type thing a try to see if I can hear better. Does seem like I have trouble hearing sometimes.

Was just curious if many/most of you have always used the drops/flushing method, or do most of you just use Q-Tips like I always have.

Qtips for the exterior, ear spoon for the canal.

i saw these things in a earth store (dont even know what that is) but you put them in your ear - and you light one end on fire. I guess it creates a vaccum - looks rediculously scary - and dont want to try it.

I soap up the inside in the shower and I scrape out the accumulated gunk with my fingernail. Nothing ever gets in too deep.

Needle-nose pliers, but using a Dremel for the hard-to-get gunk.
