How do you clean the saitek eclipse keys?

I feel that I need to clean it... But I need to know a way without rubbing off the paint exposing the light under it... Is there a way?

Yah I have a g15 but i have no will power not to eat dinner and watch stuff on the computer but no idea how to clean so if anyone has any keyboard cleaning tips 😛

use the compressed air, and dont use dirty hands on your keyboard...

So what happens if the keys are already a bit dirty...

I had no idea why, but my G15 was getting dirty like crazy, and for no reason. A friend of mine came to visit, and he said to change the direction of the fan (it's a small room too). I think I'm going to take off all of the keys except for the space bar, and physically wash them.

Yeah, I physically took off all my keys, used Q-tips and windex to clean inside of the thing after I vacuumed, and then with damp paper towel, cleaned it.

Sweet... No problems then, I take it? My kb needs to be cleaned, but I'll be damned if I'm not worried about messing up a $70 new keyboard. Especially one that I really like. 😀

I removed all the keys - including the spacebar - from my microsoft keyboard awhile ago to clean them. They needed it too.

It's apparently really easy to take them off with a flathead screwdriver.

Simple:

Shut the machine off. Or is that too obvious to mention?

Use a mild solution of liquid hand dish soap. Use it to wet a clean dish cloth, and then hand wring that cloth so it doesn't drip. At that point, do not clean ears with cloth. Go over the keyboard gently numerous times and then go over it again numerous times with clean clear water to remove all soap residue. Wait a while for any moisture to fully evaporate before firing the comp back up.

I do this every few months to my tower and laptop and it has no effect on the lettering on the keyboards.
