How do you change boot partition?

I currently have W2k setup on a 2 partition hard drive (C,D). The OS is installed on C. The boot partition is D since that's where the boot.ini, ntldr and ntdetect.com are located. I don't know why this is the case since I would think it should be C:\??/ Anyway,I want to do something else with partition D so how do I make C: the boot partition. i don't want to reformat my D partition and then find out I wont be able to boot at all into W2K. Thanks!

🙂
