How do you find out your overall score on 3D Mark?

What do I add up? or am I missing something?

There really isn't anything to add up. Each test gives you it's own total score. As far as I know, this new version of 3dmark doesn't give you just one single overall score.

Ice test is intended for mobile devices, cloud for average PCs, and fire for high end, if that helps at all.

There's 3dmark11 which gives you an overall score, in addition to individual scores. What exactly are you trying to test and/or accomplish?

What is your overall goal of using 3d mark?

Just like Dyno for cars, it should ONLY be used to see the difference between the upgrades. You start off with a baseline and work your way up.

It is NOT a "dick measuring tool' or something you compare other PCs to.....or in cars cars "horsepower" to. Horsepower #s between cars are meaningless (mostly due to other forces involved when it comes to achieving speed)

Your best bet is to measure your upgrades using the apps/games you use the most. For games, download MSI Afterburner and come up with a baseline for the game you like at the resolution/settings you play. Upgrade >see how much better it is.

Best/REAL time results right there.

3d Mark = gazillion doesn't really have ANY meaning

WAY too many people use 3d mark scores (or dyno plots) for piss matches.....
