How do you bypass Rogers@Home proxy?

I had the line to run (some kind of .dll) but I formatted my hard-drive without thinking and lost it. It made surfing alot faster and I got less 404's.

Don't use the @home software they provide. Set up your system to use DHCP.

by pass the proxy?...do u mean the 8080 one?
if so, in IE, click tools, options, connection, LAN settings, uncheck use proxy server.

they also have a different proxy setup (i think) for media player, though u have to set that up yoruself - and assumign u didn't, u have nothign to worry about.
