How do you button your shirt/work shirt?

I start in the middle then kind of work my way around. I don't have to work a dress shirt to work, hell I don't work anymore. But when I did wear a button shirt, I'm one of those guys that would sometimes only do the middle 3 or so buttons undone. Wearing a short sleave button shirt now, and top 3 are unbuttoned, bottom one is unbuttoned and the middle two are!

Up to down. Buttons are easier to find, and I know I buttoned it striaght. Never button the last one though, unless I'm tucked in, which is only like 10% of the time.

I don't wear button-up shirts all that often, but I think I do it from the bottom up.

If I'm wearing a tie, I'll start in the middle, down, then last few at the neck. If I'm going casual, I'll button the middle two or three only.
