how do you burn a data/music cd?

hi i was wondering how one would go about burning a data/audio cd (like an enhanced cd) and what program to use

I know that Nero can do it.

The mixedmode CD option is not ideal - as the data will appear as track 1 and sound like fuzz.

The ideal way is to make an enhanced CD (although this method loses some compatability). Do this as follows:

Record the audio but leave the disc open (don't finalize the disc).
Record your data. Close the disc.

The other way is to use the mode known as CD-Extra . . . this separates the audio and data tracks.
