How do YOU BBQ potatoes?

stab once with fork, wrap in foil, place on grates

or
brush with EVOO, place on grates

or
slice/dice, salt pepper, minced garlic, wrap in foil, place on grates

or
cube (cut in quarters), put on skewers, brush with EVOO, place on grates

slice open, put in fillings (butter, sourcream, chives, bacon bits, whatever sounds good), wrap in tin foil, place on BBQ, eat when done

I didn't realize I screwed up, but the CAPS is there to emphasize YOU, not to ask for directions.

I've been slicing them length wise and thin like potato chips, probably about 1/4" thick. Put them in to a mixing bowl, mix with olive oil, seasoned salt, a little pepper. Grill for about 5 minutes. They come out just yummy.

Actually I didn't even know people BBQ'd potatos. I always thought it was the ol' aluminum foil + oven = potatos.

i don't think you can bbq potatoes. well, maybe you can, but slow smoked potatoes just sounds weird.

now, you might grill them. or bake them in a grill. or broil them in a grill.

of course, you're probably just some yankee that doesn't know bbq from a hole in the ground.

chop with carrots, onion and loads of garlic. Mix and put into foil. Add copious amounts of butter. BBQ for 30 minutes. Spice & salt to your pleasure. Delicious.
