How do you backup your data?

I was thinking about home use for the most part. I was thinking about getting a DVD writer since backing up alot of stuff onto CD's can be quite the undertaking.

I have a stack of 6 9GB and a 4.5GB SCSI HDs and a bunch of CD-r disks. The CD-rs have stuff that I'll never change or update, the HDs are for stuff that gets updated. I should put all 6 in a RAID 0 some time 🙂

Currently I backup via our 802.11b yes it's slow but it only does incremental backups.

I also have a brand new external Maxtor 80GB FireWire hard drive, not sure if I am going to use it or sell it.

When DVD's are cheaper I'll use that to backup.

Networked 'puters, backed up on each other, in case one fails...I've got a LOT of Data ~50GB's or so...(atleast a lot for a home 'puter, CD's and DVD's are not practical)

I could not possibly back up my data in a cost effective way. Most goes onto DVD's if I want to keep it safe. For the most part I wouldn't be too upset if I lost a drive or two.
