How do you ASIC mine?

If the answer (for one who is inexperienced) is, "you dont", thats fine but figured I would ask anyway.

Long story short, I have never done any crypto mining but have read the stories here and there so I have a drop or two of knowledge. Saw a box at a garage sale and thought it might be a miner. Bought it for $5. Turns out its a Butterfly Labs SGL300g (looks like a 30gh after some searching). Trouble is, so far I cant tell if there is a way to mine with such an old piece of hardware. So, anyone have an idea on how I might be able to mine...something...with this old box?

NOTE- Power is free so, wont really cost anything to give it a try.
