How do you apply Loctite on L1 Bridges.

Got a Locked 700Mhz Duron I've got working only at 850 Mhz using the pencil trick. I would like to use the Loctite Rear Defogger conductive adhesive to make better connection on the L1 Jumper. How did you guys apply it? I would like some suggestions.

I used the blunt side of a needle. Just be careful that there's not a drip or a blob on it before you apply it.. Sometimes the whole drip with grab on to the Duron, and you have to clean it off..

I agree. The "eye" end of a needle worked well. I practised a few times getting the right amount until I could just dip the needle into the conductive paint and then just touch it onto the gap between the dots. No need to draw a line if the needle is the right size.

uhhh...this worries me. there are two kinds of Loctite, one is really liquidy and is applied with a small brush, and the other is a gummier substance. you don't want the gummy kind.

for application tips, check out: Vpham97's tutorial.

When connecting the L1 bridges with the defogger kit, all you have to do is connect the little gap, right? Just enough to conduct.. You don't actually have to cover the whole bridge do you?
I looked at the way they do the pencil trick on the page everyone points to, and the pencil trick seems to have it covering the whole thing.
Just wanted to make sure since I'll be unlocking my tbird soon.
Thanks.

Next time I will do it after using very thin pinstriping tape (available at art or stationery stores) as a mask between the rows.

This time I used a needle.

It's handy when you have to scrape off the excess you smeared on!

Well I redid the Loctite thing three times. This time applying it with the butt end of the needle only between the bridges contact. It's been 12 hurs and it does not work at all. :| I got farther using the pencil trick. :( I'm returning this cpu to www.overclockerz.com hopefully for a guarenteed 600 Mhz that can to 1 Ghz. I'll let you know if I get any problems with them. I might have to ask you to help me revolt against them (overclockerz.com).

Thanx anyways.
