How do you add custom resolutions?

Setup in question: 7800GTX + 32" Sharp LCD TV (DA5U)

Problem: The LCD TV runs at a widescreen resolution of 1366x768. When I attempt to manually add that resolution to the list through the nVidia control panel it tells me that 1366x768 is an invalid resolution.

How do I force 1366x768 as a selectable resolution? (Preferably without adding a third party forceware program).

I have spent the last two hours searching google, AT, and both nVidia and eVGA's support documents and I am just dumbfounded by this.

Thank you for your time.

The default was 60, so for the sake of just trying to get the resolution to show the only thing I changed was the resolution. Refresh is still 60.

Hm. At this point I'd almost be willing to use an extra app to get it done.. just wanna get this thing prepped for a little exhibition.

Having briefly played with PowerStrip, it does not properly apply the settings to the HDTV Monitor and allow me to change the resolution, even after creating a custom device driver .ini and applying that forcefully.
