How do you access the Temporary Internet Files shortcut in Windows 8.1?

Hello,

I'm running Windows 8.1.

Whenever I click on the Temporary Internet Files shortcut in the Windows folder, I get an error dialog box saying that access is denied.

I'm the owner of my computer and have administrative rights.

How can I access that shortcut?

TEMP and %TEMP% You can run these commands in RUN dialog box or start menu search box

You can use 3rd party "Commander" type App that let you see all the content of the storage devices.

That opens the folder: AppData\Local\Temp.

Actually, the shortcut doesn't lead to the same place. They're two different folders.

It's OK, though. I changed the permissions and was able to access the shortcut.
