How do u install Xvid?

Are you just looking to be able to play xvid movies? If so, you're probably just better off downloading and installing a codec pack..

Such as FFDShow or, my personal favorite, Cole2k pack

I am partial to ffdshow and vsfilter. together, those two do everything i need them to do.

I personally like playing things in VLC Player and not need to worry about installing any codecs manually.

^ I have a fresh install and tried VLC but it doesn't play .rm or .mov right away.

I ended up installing the KLite pack which comes with Media Player Classic... still didn't play .rm so I installed Real Alternative after that. MOV files also played after this.

So from what I can see, you need at least KLite pack + Media Player Classic + Real Alternative (basically for .rm decoding) to play everything.
