How do Trump supporters justify to young girls in their family supporting a sexual assaulter vs the person who put them in prison?

At some point you will have to justify/admit to your young daughters, nieces, cousins etc how can you support a sexual assaulters vs the candidate who put sexual assaulters in prison.

Do you lie to them?
Do you refuse to discuss it?
Do you tell them you may have to tolerate a powerful man sticking his fingers up your vagina for a greater good of lower egg prices?
Do you just claim E. Jean Carrol is lying, Access Hollywood tapes are fake news, Howard Stern show claims are fake news, NY jury was all Democrats out to get him?

The above are the possibilities I can think of. Is there anything I'm missing? How will those conversations go?

Your thoughts.

LOL justification?

How do they justify rape and incest? They don't.. they just take take take and don't ask for permission.. just like they did with the native americans.

All the righties like greenman will do one (or more!) of the following to justify voting, supporting and loving Trump and those like him:

Pretend it never happened (cognitive dissonance/willfully ignorant)
Everyone is lying
Approve of the behavior
State Lefties do it to
Fake news
Trump is the victims not all the women
Women deserve it (or just approves they should be thankful for it)
Their Bible states a women’s role is to be a servant of man

Greenman Felix and PcGeek and those like them have shown repeatedly they are cowards that will never address these questions in the past. They never reply when their bs is questioned and are asked for facts. They leave the thread then jump to another thread to shitpost then run again.

Trump is horrendous misogynist and they love it.

In some families politics is never discussed. There's stuff you talk about, stuff you don't talk about.

I've got an in-law that's a Trump supporter, otherwise very nice person with an adult daughter. Her reasoning ranges from 'everyone in politics lies' to 'i don't think the outlandish things people say about him could be true'.

Sigh. So all about feelings and self justification. I mean there are literal court records but it is, “I don’t believe it.” Sigh

Basically. She only watches Fox, thinks the rest are inflammatory and saying nasty things about him, he can do no wrong, etc. She's got some rather... Let's say peculiar mental traits though. Very strong attraction to 'strong businessmen' type a personality. Sees tradesmen (her husband included I think) as more of a beta, second class man. It's all sorts of fucked up. The entire boomer generation needs like a year in therapy.

The standard reply is "we didn't elect Trump to be pope. We elected him because the border was secure, gas was cheap, we were in no wars, and all we got was a few mean tweets and the economy was solid and no inflation and we weren't murdering babies". It's really hard to fight that when that is all they believe, best to just let them slide.

Faith is primary in our thinking.
It takes faith in logic and reason to even have an open ear.
And even then. People need to not be worked to the bone in order to have both time and energy to put into critical thinking.

Yet, we put people on the moon and have a telescope 2 million miles into space.

From Hitler to Einstein to Claudia Goldin we are a weird species

Er, who do you think is doing it to the girls, OP? Overwhelmingly, sexual assault is perpetrated by family, or someone that close. They genuinely don't view it as improper and think the total opposite, that daddies should get to enjoy the fruits of their seed.
If'n it ain't good enuf fer family, it shore ain't good enuf fer outsiders!

So if her boss needs to blow off steam, "come into my office so I can finger you" is cool?

Remember there is a higher purpose.

So just tolerate powerful men sexually abusing you because we need cheap gas.

Even though he said it about himself? There are recordings!!!

Access Hollywood tape
Howard Stern Show
'all politicians/men say stuff, doesn't mean it's true' 'he also said it was a lie so i believe that' 'i don't think that's accurate, i think other people are just being nasty/blowing things out of proportion' etc etc.
Basically just abused housewife stuff (not to be flippant about abuse).

See above.

For those that see Trumps past presidency through rose colored glasses; What about kids in cages? What about bodies being stored in freezer trucks? How come the R's couldn't get an Infrastructure Bill passed? What about the national debt explosion?

Media always asks who is better at handling...

immigration
economy
crime
inflation.

Why don't they ever ask who will better handle the next pandemic? We just had one it should be fresh on people's mind.

They are some combination of damaged, fundamentally rotten and ignorant. A small minority don’t know but most just don’t care or view it as a positive feature.

You suck at looking at things through the lens of a dedicated Trump cultist. Trump got the vaccine pushed through, not Biden. And it ended up we would have gotten through it quicker if we would have just opened the country up because all of those old coots would have eventually died anyway. Then the economy would have really been roaring, trump would have been re-elected, and our country would be in fantastic shape right now. Putin would have been shaking in his boots and not invaded Ukraine, it was Biden's fault because Putin was left with no choice. Oh and by the way, all of those illegals would not have flooded in the country either.
