I see TONS of ads in the local papers/mags advertising these small shops selling cell phones for Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular, Sprint, etc.
I know these aren't always the newest phones, and they sell the older ones for real cheap... but it ends up being cheaper than if I got a free phone from someone like Verizon. One place was advertising 600 anytime / unlimited anytime minutes with a free phone, etc. for $35/mo. and a 1-yr contract.
Are they all legit ? I'd still be a <insert cell company here> customer and I'd call them for support. What's the drawback to going with these resellers ? Old phones ? Is that all ? They all seem so shady when you walk in there ...
