How do they magically convert time for SNL?

When they show SNL on NBC on saturday nights, its 1.5 hours. When they show it on Comedy Central its only an hour. Whered the extra half hour go? Is it just cut out?

I thought it was usually 60 minutes on NBC, though I know some episodes are 90 minutes long (usually the "best of" ones). I could be wrong though.

They leave out some skits from the show. Sometimes they will only show the music act once.

they cut out alot of skits too.
its USED to be the last half hour of that show was garbage.
now its the whole hour and a half.
