I always wondered how they do it, and I'm sure I can learn how. I just need someone to guide me towards the right direction. Check out this website See all those stuff animating? How would I do something like that?

Would Swish be a good program to use? And I also need a program that would me create those type of things so I can put on a website

Swish is a good program to learn the basics with. Then progress from that to Macromedia Flash.

Edit: I've messed with Swish, and there is still a slight learning curve. There are forums to help with that too. Just takes time.

Shoot what was that amazing flash site with that one weird looking guy with flames all around him? And you could knock him and push him down? That was the best Flash I've ever seen.

You have to learn ActionScript if you want to have interactivity. That page is just one .swf file calling a whole bunch of other .swf files when you click a button. Online stuff and the Macromedia's own tutorial is good for learning the graphics portion; a good book for ActionScript is Flash MX Advanced by Russell Chun.
