How do these idiot local TV channels choose which game to televise?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH....

[begin rant]

I'm on the east coast, so naturally the Patriots are played every Sunday on TV. Fine, makes sense. But being an extremely big Niner fan, this means nothing to me......

Anyhow, over on FOX (who do the NFC games), they usually play the Giants game (semi-local).

This Sunday, however, they're not playing ANY early game, and the late game is Redskins @ Cardinals. WTF?!?!?!? How can they not televise the Niner/Rams game or the Packer/Bears game????!?!?

AAARGH, so frustrating.

[end rant]

Solution: Buy DirecTV and sign up for the NFL package. Big $$ but you see ALL the games. ANY game you want. Nice .......

I know.

I usually go home and watch DirecTV's Sunday Ticket at my parent's house. But since they're televising NEITHER the niner game (me = big fan) nor the giants game (dad = big fan)... my father has to use the dish to see his game.

Basically.... I'm SOL and have to resort to going to an annoyingly crowded bar to watch it.

I'm a Niner fan too (woohoo! :D) and being in the DC area, we get stinking Redskins games all the time. :| We go to a sports bar, but the only time we get to see the Niners at home is if they play on Sunday night or Monday.
