Anytime you see a very thin speaker, it is a crystal one
SAY whut?!?! Give us a model number/ MFG. please.
Do you mean a Pizeo Tweeter?
Planar speakers are very thin and are not crystals.

it's as thin as fabric... actually, it's a crystal layer which sensitively responses to the change of the voltage by vibrations... I just wonder wat crystal it is...
Will find one and give out the model...

"But the box said the speakers were supposed to sound crystal clear but all I get is static so I want to send them back but I can't because I don't want to forfeit the 15 percent restocking fee so lemme go over here and ask all these geeks on this uber board what these speaker thingies are made of and I'll provide very sparse information so they can use their creativity and ingenuity in their responses."

No, actually I was quoting Office Space. (And no, he's not talking about electrostatic speakers... well, in generic terms, yes, but that really doesn't narrow anything down, does it?)
