I have a abit BX6r2.0 motherboard and my celeron used to lock in place...the retention clips on the P3125 Alpha heatsink look like 'T''s which run vertically along the plastic motherboard 'tower' that hold the CPU, but they dont come close to locking the CPU in place.

Are there any pics of what they should look like? I may have gotten the wrong ones.

If u check the edge of ur Alpha, u see little gold clips that point inwards, and there is a screw holding it in place. TO help it secure to the side railes, pull out the gold clips, flip it outwards, and adjust it so that it will hold the heatsink stably against the guard rail. That way, ur heatsink wont wobble around. If those instructions dont make any sense, PM me and maybe i can help u with a more step to step instructions.

I didn't notice any little gold clips that pointed inwards when I installed my 3125 on my BH6 board, so I used some small ty-wraps through the holes on the top of the supports and around the metal T lugs on the edge of the 3125. It's a little bit ghetto, but it holds the proc very securely.
