How do some people get famous?

so all of the sudden it hit me when i watched a clip of America's got Talent...
How in the world did David Hassellhoff get famous?haha seriously...i had never thought about it before but when i finally did i honestly couldnt figure it out. There could have a been a way cooler knight rider/baywatch lifeguard.

i remember those times. and to think, I was so little when I watched it... if I watched it now, I think I would enjoy it for different reasons...

simple answer: exposure.

The more you are seen on TV, the more people watch it, the more they like, hate you. Just look at that Huang guy. He got his 15 mins of fame, he was so horrible at what he did people liked it. It's what sells. Some people are phases too, Much like music.

oh... I thought he was asking how David Hasselhoff got famous enough to be selected for Knight Rider in the first place.

Because being the star of two hit series like Knight Rider and Baywatch would certain explain his popularity afterwards...
